Corned beef hash is one of those dishes that you could eat basically any time of the day, at breakfast, lunch or dinner. The best part is you can prepare and cook it really quick. Here is how I do mine.

Ingredients:
1 Can of Corned Beef
2 Small sized potato, diced in ¼ inches
1 Small onion, sliced thinly
1 Small bay leaf
2 Cloves of garlic, smashed
1 Teaspoon MSG
Salt & Pepper to taste (S&P)
Directions:
In a skillet sauté garlic until golden brown and then add onion and cook until it hits the shiny stage. Add corned beef and break it apart. Cover and let it cook for 3 minutes on medium low heat. Add potatoes, bay leaf, MSG, and pepper. Stir, cover, and let it simmer for 12 more minutes on medium low heat. Stir again and add salt just before serving. Enjoy!

Hi there!
How are you doing?
This looks like a great alternative to just adding onions (as I usually do!) Corned beef is usually my “I don’t know what to eat” choice… sort of a last-minute-must-eat-now-or-I’ll-pass-out kind of meal :p I’ll have to take more time to fancy it up sometime
I noticed you still have a link to my old blog on WordPress in your left sidebar… I’ve moved my blogs to my own domain some time ago. “Nemo’s Kitchen” can now be found at http://kitchen.daily-dabble.com
Come check it out sometime!
I don’t post recipes very often as I’m not cooking much due to various personal reasons, no real stove and oven being the main reason! I hope to get that all sorted out by the end of the year or early next year at the latest
Hope you have a fantastic rest of the day!
You actually use MSG? I don’t think I’ve seen a bottle of MSG since I was going through my boyfriend’s cabinet, gasped and threw it out! Hahaha.
we don’t have vetsin in the kitchen because they say it’s bad for the health… but i’ll try to do your recipe without the MSG. thanks! =D
Great post! Thanks for putting this up, I had forgotten how to make it, such a good recipe!!
I love eating this with just rice but sometimes I feel guilty because there are no vegetables..
I’ve personally never added the MSG because I think the corned beef is often quite salty enough, and I usually add a chopped tomato or a can or diced tomato which adds a nice flavour..
